Invited talk for the municipality of Waasmunster (75 people) on climate and climate change.

Climate lecture for an audience of 100  in CinemaZed/STUK (Leuven) with Jan Lenaerts, as part of the Leuven Climate Week.

 

Climate lecture for 200 teachers, school principals, councilors and mayors in preparation for the introduction of the 'Climate calculator tool' in schools in Flanders. This tool is designed to increase climate change awareness under high school students age 10-12.

 

Invited climate lecture for organisation 'Actueel Denken en Leven' (Koksijde), for an audience of 300.

 

2015

August 2015: participation in the SEES expedition to Svalbard. Important goal of this scientific expedition (50 scientists) was to increase public awareness on climate and environmental change and the effect of these changes on remote areas like the Arctic. 

 

November 23: Invited climate lecture for organisation 'Actueel Denken en Leven' (Antwerp), for an audience of 700.
